Most paint jobs come with a list of little things that need fixing first — a leaky P-trap, a broken disposal, a hole behind a door. Jerry is a handyman too. We fix it while we're already there.
Jerry has been a handyman as long as he's been a painter. When we walk a property to quote a paint job, we usually find the same handful of things that the homeowner has been meaning to deal with — a slow-draining sink, a disposal that hums but won't spin, a fist-sized hole behind a bedroom door, baseboards that pulled away when the carpet came out. We take care of all of it in the same visit.
Plumbing-wise, the most common calls are bathroom sink drains, P-trap leaks, and garbage disposal replacements. We carry the standard fittings and a few popular disposal models on the truck, so most calls are one-trip jobs. We handle the install, the leak test, and the cleanup.
Drywall is where painting and handyman work overlap the most. We patch holes from doorknobs, anchors, TV mounts, and accidental kicks; match texture (smooth, knockdown, orange peel); and paint it back in so you can't tell where the patch was. Same goes for trim, baseboards, and small carpentry — we'd rather fix it right than paint over a wobbly board.
